Wallace Vets, located in Dundee, is a well-regarded veterinary clinic with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and professional service. The clinic is notable for being a Veterinary Nurse Training facility, highlighting its commitment to education and high standards of veterinary practice.
With an impressive overall Google rating of 4.7 stars based on 313 reviews, Wallace Vets stands out as a reliable choice for pet owners in the area. This high rating is reflective of the numerous positive experiences reported by clients, such as those shared by reviewers Luke Davies and Jane Arc. Davies praises the clinic for its exceptional handling of his nervous rescue dog, while Arc commends a staff member named Jodie for her dedication to alleviating her dog's fear of vets.
However, not all feedback is entirely positive. Some reviews, like those from Kieran Penrose and Graeme Cockburn, point to areas of concern. Penrose criticizes the clinic for its costly surgery pricing and perceived lack of empathy, while Cockburn notes issues with medication readiness and a decline in service quality over time. These contrasting reviews suggest that while the clinic generally maintains high standards, there may be occasional inconsistencies in service delivery.
Transparency in pricing is partially addressed through customer feedback, with surgical procedures cited at £2,400, though this was noted as higher compared to another local provider. Despite this, the clinic's strong reputation and the dedication of its staff, as highlighted in numerous reviews, contribute to its standing as a trusted veterinary service in Dundee.

Repeatedly tried to get me to put the family dog down, quoted 2.4k for surgery parkside vets did for 1.2 and the dog is now fine, money not pet focused. Was told by a employee called Fraser he understands I'm guilty for not being able to care for my dog properly after saying I couldn't afford 2.4k upfront. Absolutely shocking behaviour from a group claiming to care about animals.

Medication wasn't ready, same old story with this place it seems. I did get what I was looking for, in the end. I remember a time when they were the best vet in the area. Shame things have gone so downhill.

First experience there and it was brilliant. Reception staff and vet were so nice. Would recommend based on what I've experienced so far!

We have used these guys for years, recently started to take our rescue dog here. He can be very nervous with new people and 9/10 times will shy away in to a corner, we are building up on his confidence but at the present moment he has very little trust in new people. Went along on Sunday and i can't stress how amazing the vet was with finley, to the point where she was able to do all the checks needed and he had enough trust to allow face pats. Very grateful for the time these guys took to allow my dog to feel comfortable in a new space.

I have been working with Jodie who has gone out of her way to help my dogs fear of vets. She has worked wonders. A great asset to this practice.
